One day he was attacked by a dog and developed a huge infection but fortunately, he was saved by an animal rescue in Mississippi. They medically rehabilitated him -- cleared his infection and got him up to date on vaccinations. Since arriving in New Hampshire, Sampson has seen the vet and has a clean bill of health. He is neutered and microchipped, now you can give him the home he so deserves.You will see that he is still growing the hair on his back from being shaved to treat the infection. This is only temporary.Sampson is described as loving, sweet, good on a leash, crate-trained, and generally an easy-going dog.He gets along with cats and kids who don’t bother him. He would prefer to be an only dog or live with a laid-back, docile dog. Since he was left to fend for himself outside for most of his life, he doesn’t want to play or share food or treats with other dogs. Sampson is hoping to find his retirement home where he will not be bothered excessively.
